Bread & Circuses Barcelona: Bread & Circuses is the brain child of Kathleen Engelhardt and Susannah Taylor, two American chefs living in Barcelona. Over time we have come to realize that Barcelona (and Catalonia in general) has an amazing and varied culinary tradition, and some of the best artisanal producers in the world. However, there is one thing missing: sandwiches. Specifically, delicious, inexpensive, creative sandwiches showcasing American technique and style combined with incredible Catalan ingredients. Our goal is to open the first truly American style sandwich shop and delivery service in Barcelona.
